TA 6: Computational & Theoretical Neuroscience

Computational and theoretical neuroscience complements experimental approaches to brain science. Research in the field includes

(1) mathematical modeling of neurons, networks and brain-like systems, and
(2) tools to analyze experimental data.

Typical research methods employed are large-scale computer simulations and modern approaches from data science and machine learning.
